With 3,000W of peak power, it is the perfect speaker for restaurants, bars, sporting events, parties and private events. This was a present for my brother who often does big house parties (especially 7/4). He'd been using a 100watt/ch Insignia receiver/stereo, into a couple 4ohm speakers I'd built many years ago - this set-up worked ok most of the time, but the low impedance caused the receiver to run hot and occasionally cut off during some of the louder parties.

This system shouldn't behave like that since it's better matched, and suited for his application. He's tested it out with the 1812 Overture (yes, with cannons) and reports it'll probably be just what he needs for 7/4. I'll give him a mic too, so he can use the karaoke feature sometimes, and also to MC his parties. It's really perfect for his needs. Not too cheap, but not so nice that it's super-expensive.

Pro' mid-range rather than pro-for-the-music-industry (crown, electrovoice, etc). A good value for what it is. My husband love love love this he's so excited. This was a Christmas gift for my son and was so excited when he hooked it up.

He loves the amount if power it puts out. I just love my system. The lights I love how it sounds and I would recommend this to anyone it's awesome. Easy to use comes with everything.
